A stately Portuguese quinta with the grace of a country manor and the warmth of a lived-in home. Within vineyard-framed private grounds, the estate centers on two noble houses and a collection of historic outbuildings—an authentic “Portuguese Downton Abbey” in spirit and scale—habitable today and inviting sympathetic renovation.

Provenance & Architecture

Origins in the early 1600s; present ensemble reflects the 17th, 18th and early 19th centuries.
Principal manor: rectangular plan, distinctive roof with three mansards. Stone grand stair with a small porch on the main façade; windows with wrought-iron balconies.
Formal garden to the south laid on a quadrangular plan with stone benches, accessed through 18th-century gates; scattered carved stone pieces of unknown provenance add character and storytelling.
Second house (rural in spirit), also rectangular, sits just north of the manor, more intimate in scale with an exterior stair to the first floor—ideal for staff, guests, or production HQ.
